| 02.13.03 | AndrË FranÁois Tribute Page As many IPA members are now aware, AndrÈ FranÁois suffered a fire in his studio which consumed most of his life's work. The Illustrators' Partnership has proposed to Graphis magazine that we mount a tribute to this remarkable and influential artist from his many friends and colleagues around the world. Graphis has said they are "100 percent behind the project." Since so many artists have responded to this tragic event by sending in hand written letters and drawings, we have created a special tribute page on the IPA website at http://www.illustratorspartnership.org/tribute Any artist can use this forum without registering to review the letters we have already received and to post your own. We'll forward those letters and illustrations to AndrÈ that arrive to us before February 24th and submit them to Graphis. |
